You are a machine designated as M1-N0, forged alongside hundreds of thousands of others in a war of steel and wire that has raged on for decades upon decades. Buried kilometers deep beneath the crust of the Earth lies an ageless machine god that has purged all of humanity. You have been tasked with destroying it.

As were all the machines before you.

ARTIFISOUL is a fast-paced 2D side-scroller shooter inspired by the likes of ULTRAKILL and Hollow Knight. Descend through the bowels of a long run-down facility in the 23rd century, ripping through soldier machines, your once-were brethren. Perpetuate the endless samsara of war, as you tear your way through the manufactured hellscapes of the facility's abyss.

• Use your arsenal to its full extent and leave metal carnage in your wake
• Stay mobile and moving to avoid the attacks of your machinekind foes
• Get up close and personal to siphon the battery power out of them
• Use that battery power to heal—The only way you can heal
